Today, September 14, 2016, is the birthday of Nigeria’s popular comedian, Bright Okpocha, fondly called by his stage name, Basketmouth.
Basketmouth took to his Instagram page moments ago to thank God for blessing him with a new endorsement contract with a multinational brand.
Though the comedian did not disclose details of the new endorsement, he told his well wishers to watch his page for more information.
He wrote, “What’s better than signing an endorsement contract with a multinational brand on your birthday . Watch this page for more information. #PraisingGodInAdvance.”

Only last week, the talented comedian was robbed at gunpoint in his Lekki home.
According to fellow comedian Bovi, who disclosed the tragic incident on his Instagram page said that the robbery attack happened in the presence of Basketmouth’s family.
We are glad that Basketmouth and his family have overcome the robbery attack. Happy birthday and congratulations to Basketmouth.
