The Nigerian Barber who went viral after being mocked by music star Davido, popularly known as Kallys Touch, has cried out to Nigerians, claiming that he has yet to receive the N2.2 million promised to him by Wizkid’s fans.
The saga began a few days ago when Kallys Touch took to Davido’s Instagram page, leaving a comment referring to him as 003, implying that he was the third biggest Nigerian artist.
Davido, clearly offended by the remark, slammed the barber, stating that he would have been the one to cut his hair when he visited Abuja and that he had single-handedly helped boost the businesses of three barbers, suggesting that Kallys Touch had missed out on a “generational blessing.”
Unfazed by Davido’s response, Kallys Touch expressed that Davido was not his God and that he had no regrets about his comment, as he is a staunch Wizkid fan. He also expressed confidence that his time to shine would come.
Following the online drama, some of Wizkid’s fans pledged to gift Kallys Touch N2.2 million, seemingly in solidarity with the barber’s stance against Davido.
An X user @MrDablue promised the barber “2 million naira for him. Davido is not God.”
However, in a recent development, Kallys Touch has taken to his Instagram story to cry out to Nigerians, stating that he has yet to receive the promised money.
“I’m still yet to receive this 2.2million. God abeg. Someone, please connect me to Him. I haven’t heard or spoken with your Sir,” the barber pleaded in his Instagram story.
The online feud between Davido and Wizkid had previously escalated when Wizkid triggered Davido by sharing an embarrassing video of the latter begging a lady, presumably for sex.
Wizkid shared the video while engaging with fans who were pestering him to drop new music, urging them to beg him as Davido did in the video.
Davido retaliated by calling out Wizkid, accusing him of being a “sick man” and a “woman beater.”
