Former American President, Barack Obama, on Wednesday, January 17, 2017, sent heartwarming messages to his wife, Michelle Obama, as she clocked 54.
The former president posted their picture on his Instagram handle with the caption,” You’re not only my wife and the mother of my children, you’re my best friend.
“I love your strength, your grace, and your determination. And I love you more each day. Happy Birthday, @MichelleObama.”
Michelle also shared photos of the beautiful bouquet and card her husband sent to her office on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
In the post, the former first lady thanked her husband and everyone who sent birthday wishes, adding that Obama was her best friend, biggest fan and the culture of getting notes and flowers from him will never get old.
She wrote, “Thank you @BarackObama for the beautiful flowers waiting for me in the office this morning. You’re my best friend, biggest fan, and getting notes and flowers from you will never get old.
“And to the many people from around the country who sent cards and posted on social media, you have no idea how much we love hearing from you. I know birthdays can sometimes be bittersweet (54!), but your messages of hope, generosity, and warmth have always reminded me how lucky and blessed we are.”
The Obama’s have been married for 26 years and blessed with two daughters, Malia Ann Obama, Sasha Obama.
