A staff of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency has been reportedly killed by bandits who stormed Kaduna airport on Saturday.

Tribune reported that the terrorist made their way to the runway and prevented a Lagos bound flight from taking off.

Further reports revealed that officials of the airline and passengers were forced to scamper for safety.

Although there has been no official statement from the government, airport authority, NEMA and the police, a source who pleaded for anonymity confirmed the development.

‘’As I speak to you now, there is already military presence to beef up security, though most of the staff are scared with the killing of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) staff, the source said.

As of the time of filing this report, over 10 military trucks have been deployed to the airport.
