Bandits have kidnapped two nurses and several patients from a Primary Health Care Centre in Kuyello, Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The incident occurred on Monday around 9:00 am.

According to local vigilante Musa Alhassan, the bandits initially targeted the nearby Government Day Secondary School. Upon finding the school empty, they redirected their attack to the healthcare centre.

“They came to the school asking about the students, but when they found it empty, they went to the healthcare centre and started kidnapping people,” Alhassan reported.

Armed with guns and machetes, the bandits abducted two female nurses and an unknown number of patients, leaving the community in a state of fear. The exact number of those taken is still unclear.

As of the time of reporting, the Kaduna State Police Command has not yet responded to inquiries about the incident.
