Bandits on Saturday kidnapped Mallam Aminu Musa Bobi, Zone ‘C’ chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Mariga Local Government Area in Niger State.
The NATION reported that the abduction occurred around 5.00 pm on Saturday while Bobi was supervising workers on his farm.
Eyewitnesses said about 18 gunmen invaded the farm on six motorcycles, shooting sporadically.
The gunmen were said to have picked only Bobi, leaving his workers behind.
All efforts to get Niger Police Spokesman DSP Abiodun Wasiu proved abortive.
He didn’t pick calls or responded to text messages.
