An alleged serial rapist, popularly known as Badoo in the Ikorodu axis of Lagos State has been beaten to death and burnt by a mob.

He was served jungle justice on Saturday after he was caught raping a little girl at Ota, Owode Ibeshe Ikorodu.

He was tied and beaten to death before his body was burnt to loud cheers by crowds of onlookers.

Badoo had been on the prowl in Ikorodu for some time now.

Residents of Oke Ota community in the Ibeshe, Ikorodu, Lagos State, on Thursday June 9, 2016 had blocked the Ibeshe Road to protest against the rape and killing of a Ghanaian resident, Grace Obinna, by Badoo. 

Four days later, on June 13, Badoo had reportedly been sighted by some members of the community who attacked him for his alleged atrocities. He was then handed over to police who promised to charge him to court immediately, the Nationonline had reported.

However, a few days later the suspect had been reported to be on the prowl again. He had reportedly raped more women after then, including an 83-year-old woman.

Reports linked his atrocities to some form of rituals.
