Baby Egba Jeremiah is the first baby to be born this year on record so far.
He was born at 00.50 hours on January 1st 2017. His time of birth attracted Justice Eberechi Wike to visit him at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, where he was born on Sunday. The baby weighed 2.2kilogrammes at birth.
