An official autopsy report has attributed the cause of Bobby Brown Jr.’s death to “combined effects of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl.”
The late son of popular rhythm and blues singer, Bobby Brown, reportedly had a history of drug and alcohol use.
According to TMZ, a witness told police that Bobby Jr. drank tequila and sniffed half a Percocet and cocaine on the evening he was found responsive.
“No foul play was suspected, and his death is listed as an accident,” the witnessed said.
“Please keep my family in your prayers at this time. Losing my son at this point in our lives has devastated my family. There are no words to explain the pain,” Bobby Sr. told TMZ back in November.
The death of Brown’s son came nine years after his former wife, Whitney Houston, died from accidentally drowning in a bath tub at the Beverly Hilton hotel.
Six years after, his daughter ,Bobbi Kristina Brown, was also found unresponsive in a bathtub at 22 years old.
Bobby Jr.’s family said he was experiencing flu-like symptoms on the days leading up to his death and was feeling unwell.
But a source told TMZ that it was not linked to COVID-19.
