Australian Open: Andy Murray booted out in round two
British tennis star, Andy Murray, has been eliminated from the Australian Open on Thursday after suffering straight-set defeats to Taro Daniel.
The 28-year-old Japanese dumped the 34-year-old former World No1 by (6-4, 6-4, 6-4) at the John Cain Arena in Australia.
The five-time finalist in Melbourne Park had no answers for the world No120’s questions and surrendered after two hours and 48 minutes on court.
Murray, ranked 113, missed out on the opportunity to secure his 696th career win that would take him back into the world’s top 100.
