Contrary to recent reports of a ‘no love lost’ relationship between the National Leader of the All Progressives Party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, both politicians have shown that they still hold themselves in high esteem.
It was rumoured few weeks ago that the choice of who would occupy the position of Chairman of the Board Trustees of the APC had become a contest between former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and Tinubu.
However, a photo has emerged of both veteran politicians in warm embrace during the engagement ceremony of Tinubu’s son, Oluwaseyi Tinubu and his bride, Layal J. Holm, held at Oba Akiolu’s palace, Iga Idungaran, Lagos Island on Monday, August 8, 2016.
Atiku shared the picture on his official Twitter page, @atiku, writing, “Asiwaju, looking every inch the proud father of the groom today.”
