I pray God grants you long life, more vigour, Atiku tells Tinubu on 69th birthday
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday, revealed his role in restoring and promoting democracy in Nigeria, a role which he claims to have shared with Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress.
Atiku said he and Tinubu have come a long way in the drive to restore and promote democracy in Nigeria.
Referring to Tinubu as a brother and friend, Atiku prayed that God grants Tinubu long life and more vigour in the quest for a better Nigeria.
The former Vice President stated this while celebrating Tinubu on his 69th birthday.
In a series of tweets, the former Vice President wished Tinubu more vigour in his quest for good governance in Nigeria.
He wrote:
“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu @AsiwajuTinubu and I have come a long way in the common mission to restore and promote democracy in Nigeria.
“On this special occasion of your birthday, I pray to the Almighty Allah to grant you long life and more vigour to keep the march on in the quest for good governance and a better life for our people. Congratulations, dear friend and brother.”
