Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the death of Emeka Chugbo and Aliyu Yakubu, two medical doctors who died of COVID-19.
Mr Abubakar, who took to his Twitter page on Thursday morning, mourned the deaths of the two medical practitioners.
It will be recalled that Dr Emeka, a private medical doctor, died after being exposed to a coronavirus patient.

He further stated that the deceased cases reinforce the need to intensify the supply of all necessities, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect medical personnel.
“When we lose critical medical personnel in the frontline, we inadvertently compromise the fight against #COVID19.”
