A video of a 19-year-old man, identified as Zubairu, who gifted his girlfriend a Mercedes Benz, iWatch and an iPhone X Max on her 16th birthday has generated mixed reactions on the internet.
According to multiple reports, the 19-year-old is a 100 level undergraduate student based in Abuja and his girlfriend, Nihat, is an SSS3 student.
The video was reportedly uploaded by their friends who witnessed the expensive “assurance” gift presented by the loverboy.
However, Twitterati have questioned the source of the 19-year old’s wealth.
Many opined that the lover boy is an internet fraudster or a money ritualist.

Some also lamented the rising rate of young men and teenage girls who engage in sexual relationships because of material possession.
However, some tagged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s official twitter handle urging them to investigate the lavish gifts.
The video has since gone viral on all social media platforms.
