ASIKO OPE JANET TI DE! Janet Jackson makes come-back with Yoruba Song [VIDEO]

Legendary American singer, Janet Jackson, used the Yoruba language and talking drum to make her performance entrance for her new single “Made For now” on the “Tonight Show” hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

The actress who has been on hiatus on the music scene featured Rapper Daddy Yankee in the single.

Janet dressed in African prints popularly referred to as ‘Ankara’ had performers beating the talking drum while chanting “Asiko ope Janet ti de” which translates to “Its time for praise, Janet is here”.

The setting was also African as the stage and other dancers were all dressed in similar prints.
