Arsenal beat Leicester 2 – 0 to climb fifth on EPL table
Arsenal beat Leicester City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League clash on Saturday.
Early goals from Gabriel who pounced on a Bukayo Saka corner kick after just five minutes into the game and Emile Smith Rowe’s 18th minute second sealed the victory for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Aaron Ramsdale pulled a number of outstanding saves including a deadly freekick from James Maddison in the second half.
The victory sees The Gunners move fifth on the table, joint-top with West Ham United on 17 points after 10 matches.
Arteta’s side who opened the matchweek 10 fixtures are now three points behind defending champions, Manchester City, four behind second-placed Liverpool and five points behind league leaders, Chelsea.
