The Nigerian Army has announced plans to give a dignified burial to some of its soldiers who lost their lives during a peacekeeping mission in Okuama Community, Delta State.
The 17 fallen soldiers, affiliated with the 181 Amphibious Battalion, will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Abuja on Wednesday.
The soldiers were killed while responding to a distress call arising from a communal crisis between Okuoma and Okoloba communities in the South South State on March 14, 2024.
