Arewa Youths withdraw October 1 ultimatum issued to Igbos in the north
The October 1 quit notice issued by Arewa youths to Igbos living in the north has been withdrawn.
The Arewa youths who issued press statements in June said the ultimatum was given so that the Igbos who are Biafran agitators and reside in the North, can quickly go to their region to form their desired country or face physical attacks if they choose not to leave.
The quit notice received a lot of criticism throughout the country.
However, leaders of the forum announced the withdrawal of the quit notice in a press conference they held recently.
