The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has hailed the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the self-acclaimed leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra.

However, the Forum was quick to add that Kanu and his collaborators should be made to understand that Nigeria is not a failed state.

The ACF also noted that he and his collaborators should know that the rule of law still exists in the country.

In a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the Forum, Emmanuel Yawe, on Tuesday, the forum remarked that Nnamdi Kanu has no respect for the country.

ACF noted that all his actions are toward destroying the country, saying, sadly he enjoys the collaboration of some Nigerians who also want the country destroyed.

According to Forum, Nnamdi also enjoys the support of the international arms dealers who know that he has the capacity to instigate people to carry arms against one another.

“Given the complex international and national issues involved in this case we call on the government to handle the matter with care.

“The best way out is to keep strictly to the rule of law. Kanu and his collaborators must be made to understand that Nigeria is not a failed state and the rule of law still exists here,” the statement declared.
