Apple introduced its latest products at the “It’s Glowtime” event on Monday, showcasing new additions to its iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch lines.
iPhone 16 Series
The iPhone 16 range includes the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max features a 6.9-inch screen. Both Pro models are equipped with a new A18 Pro chip, which Apple claims is faster and more efficient. They also offer enhanced camera features, including 5x telephoto zoom and 4K video recording at 120 frames per second. The Pro Max boasts the longest battery life of any iPhone to date.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus have a new A18 chip and 8GB of RAM. They also introduce a “capture button” for easier camera access and include AI capabilities. The iPhone 16 starts at $799, while the 16 Plus starts at $899.
AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro
The new AirPods 4 come with improved sound quality and two models: one with noise cancellation for $179 and one without for $129. Apple also announced that the AirPods Pro will soon feature a hearing aid function, pending FDA approval. This will include a hearing test and the ability to function as a hearing aid.
Apple Watch Series 10
The Apple Watch Series 10 introduces a new sleep apnea detection feature, though this is also pending FDA approval. The watch will be available in black, silver, and rose gold, starting at $399. It will be available for preorder on Monday and in stores on September 20.
iOS 18, which includes the new features for AirPods and Apple Watch, will be available starting September 16.
