Nigerian actress Annie Macaulay has covered the tattoo of her former husband, singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, replacing the “Idibia” inscription on her left chest with the image of a butterfly.
The change was noticed in photos shared on the actress’s Instagram page on Tuesday night.
The new tattoo comes days after Annie shared a post about moving on and shortly after she dismissed rumours suggesting she had reunited with the music star.
The actress addressed the speculation in a post shared on her Instagram Stories, stating that the videos fuelling the claims were old and being presented out of context.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
Rumours of a reconciliation emerged after an old video showing the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub resurfaced on social media.
However, Annie’s latest post and the decision to cover the tattoo have further fuelled speculation that she has moved on from the relationship.
Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after more than a decade together. The singer has since married Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
