Angry Abike Dabiri lambastes Hushpuppi, Invictus Obi, says Nigeria will always celebrate millions making us proud
Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri, has once again dragged Hushpuppi.
WuzupNigeria reports that Dubai authorities yesterday released the video which showed the moment HUshpuppi and his gang were arrested and paraded in their city.
The authorities also revealed the huge amount Hushpuppi and his gang stole.
The video which has gathered millions of views on social media has sparked heated conversations on social media, and one of those who spoke was Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
“Committing crime and still having the audacity to show off. Ramoni Igbalode aka Hushpuppi,” she tweeted.
“This is really denting to our image as a people, but like I always say, fraud does not represent who we are as Nigerians. Hardworking, dedicated, committed.”
“Whether your name is Ramoni Igbalode or Invictus Obi, crime is crime. The law must take its course. To those countries, another Nigerian has committed a crime. While we will call out those who soil our image, we will always celebrate the millions of Nigerians making us proud”
The Dubai Police also revealed details about the alleged fraud committed by suspected internet fraudster, Ramon Abass, popularly known as Hushpuppi and others.

1. Fraud committed amount to 1.6 billion dirhams ($435,611,200)
2. Dubai police seized cash worth 150 million dirhams ($40,838,550) during raid
3. 21 laptops
4. 47 smartphones
5. 15 flash drive
6. 5 hard disks
7. 1,926,400 victims defrauded
8. 13 exotic cars worth 25 million dirhams ($6,806,425) were also confiscated.
Hushpuppi and others were arrested on multiple fraud charges committed in different parts of the world.
Specialities: Creating fake pages for existing websites to redirect payments. Hacking corporate emails and sending fake messages to clients.
