Angélique Kidjo, Grammy Award winner, a Beninese singer-songwriter, actress, and activist is presently in Lagos, Nigeria, where she visited Smooth FM studio this morning for an interview session. Kidjo was seen to be very excited to be in Lagos again after several years.

The legendary singer explained that it is almost 13 years since she visited the city last. In the video that was posted online this morning, Kidjo was heard speaking Yoruba fluently, she said                             “Ekaro ọ ṣe dáadáa lè jí”  which means, Good morning, hope you slept well?.
