American television personality, Danielle Staub has confirmed her engagement to Olivier Maier, a New York City businessman, just a week after finalising her divorce from her ex-husband Marty Caffrey.
56-years-old Staub, who came into prominence after her role in the reality television series The Real Housewives of New Jersey, got engaged to Maier the Duke of Provence in France, on Thursday, at Cheval Blanc maison during their ongoing vacation in St. Barth.
Staub and Maier first confirmed their relationship earlier this week after she shared a photo of them kissing on the beach at Saint Barth. Though the two have known each other since October, meeting via the woman Maier was with at the time, they didn’t start dating until this month.
The two will reportedly walk down the aisle as soon as they get back to NYC, with a courthouse ceremony on Monday. Her close pal, Teresa Giudice is expected to be in attendance.
“I’m madly in love,” Danielle told People
“I’m feeling elated and excited for the next stage of my life. I’m going to marry the man of my possible dreams and hopefully I’ll spend the rest of my life in bliss.”
Before her short-lived marriage to Caffrey, Staub was married to and shares two children with husband of 14 years Thomas N. Staub. She was also married in the ’80s to Kevin Maher.
This will be the second marriage for Maier, who has one child with his ex-wife.
