Alecia Beth Moore popularly known as Pink, American singer and songwriter has been named the most played female artist of the twenty-first century in the United Kingdom.
This was made known in a new list released by PPL, a music licensing company.
The list has been compiled using music consumption and airplay data from UK radio stations and television channels from 2000.
According to the PPL, Pink has received more airtime in the UK than Adele, Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry.
The 42-year-old from the United States, released her first album Can’t Take Me Home around the turn of the century, with an R&B flavor and songs such as Most Girls, You Make Me Sick, and There You Go.
