Nigeria’s Victor Moses has been voted the Premier League PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for November.

The Chelsea player who won the accolade ahead of fellow Nigerian, Victor Anichebe, Sergio Aguero, Matt Phillips, Nordin Amrobat and Gylfi Sigurdson is the second in quick succession for a ‘Blues’ player this season after Eden Hazard’s exploits in October won him same award.

Chelsea top the Premier League log after match week 13 and are ahead of closest rivals Liverpool and Man City by just one point.

The Nigerian player has become a key player under Antonio Conte after impressing the new boss in pre-season.

The winger was reinvented in Conte’s all conquering 3-4-3 as a wing-back.

Moses was the difference between his side’s last weekend derby against Tottenham Hotspurs, scoring the winner after his side came down from a goal to win the game.

Nigeria ranks first among African nations to produce more than one winner of the EPL player of the month.

The award is given out to outstanding players on monthly basis in a season by the players association.

Tony Yeboah of Ghana is the first African player to win the award in March and September 1995 at Leeds United.

Former Super Eagles forward Osaze Odeminwigie is second Nigerian after Jay Jay Okocha in November 2003, to win the Player of the month award.

Osaze was voted the most outstanding player for the months September 2010, April 2011 and February 2012 while at West Bromwich Albion.

Swansea City striker, Andre Ayew, is the fourth African to win the individual award in August 2015.

Overall, Manchester United holds the record as the club with the most winners, followed by Arsenal  and Liverpool.
