Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has described his bosom friend and partner, Aliko Dangote, has the greatest man that has come out of Africa.
The oil magnate in a post celebrating Dangote’s 62 birthday said the latter is a titan that God created specially for mankind.
Otedola further listed his friend’s remarkable achievements saying “you have broken every boundary in worldwide business and industry”.
“Happy birthday to the greatest man that has come out of Africa. My brother, the Visionary, owner of the 2nd largest sugar refinery in the world, the largest cement factory in the world, one of the largest flour mills in the world, the 2nd largest fertiliser plant in the world that is due for completion, and the biggest oil refinery in the world.

WuzupNaija reports that the pair are known to attend public functions together and often spend their leisure time in each others company.
Some celebrities and notable personalities also penned heartwarming messages to celebrate Africa’s giant on their individual Instagram pages.
Comedian Bovi wrote, “Happy birthday to my best friend and fellow billionaire, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
“I remember when we took this picture 4 years ago, you advised me to go public with my company. So I sold shares on the mic and like they say, the rest is history ??.”
Aliko Dangote GCON was born 10 April 1957 and is a business magnate, investor, and owner of the Dangote Group, which has interests in commodities in Nigeria and other African countries. As of March 2019, he had an estimated net worth of US$10.6 billion.
Dangote is ranked by Forbes magazine as the 100th-richest person in the world and the richest in Africa and peaked on the list as the 23rd-richest person in the world in 2014.
He surpassed Saudi-Ethiopian billionaire Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi in 2013 by over $2.6 billion to become the world’s richest person of African descent.
Dangote reportedly added $9.2 billion to his personal wealth in 2013, according to the Bloomberg Index, making him the thirtieth-richest person in the world at the time, in addition to being the richest person in Africa.
In 2014, the Nigerian government said Dangote had donated 150 million naira (US$750,000) to halt the spread of Ebola.
Personal life
Dangote is married and lives in Lagos, Nigeria.
He has been married four times, and his first three marriages ended in divorce. He has a total of fifteen children from these marriages.
