The Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace, Dr Ejike Ndiulo, has resigned from his role less than four months after joining the airline.
According to the PUNCH, his resignation was confirmed in a statement on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
In his resignation letter, Dr Ndiulo thanked the airline for the opportunity to serve. He wrote, “I wish to resign my appointment as Head of Corporate Communications at Air Peace Limited. My family and I are grateful for the wonderful opportunities for growth and development that I have had during my time at Air Peace.”
“Your guidance and support have played a crucial role in my professional journey, and I appreciate the trust you placed in me.”
He also said he hopes to keep a good relationship with the airline even after leaving.
Although the official reason given for his resignation was to pursue a “higher calling,” sources in the aviation industry believe it may be connected to recent negative reports in the media about the airline. These reports reportedly placed added pressure on the communications team.
It is not yet known where Dr Ndiulo is heading next, but insiders suggest he may be moving to a top role in a well-known organisation outside the aviation sector.
Dr Ndiulo is an experienced communications expert. He holds a PhD in Strategic Marketing Management from Babcock University, an MSc in Marketing from the University of Lagos, and an MBA from Lagos State University.
He also studied Agricultural Economics at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. In addition, he has professional certifications in External Relations and Reputation Management from Pan-Atlantic University and has received emergency and hostile environment training in the United Kingdom.
Air Peace has not yet released a formal statement on Dr Ndiulo’s exit or who will replace him.
