Again, fuel-laden tanker falls on Otedola bridge [Video]
A diesel-laden tanker has fallen around the Otedola bridge on Lagos-Ibadan expressway outward Lagos state on Friday evening.
It was gathered that the incident has caused a gridlock on the highway on the lane of motorists going out of Lagos.
The Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command while issuing an advisory to tweeted:
“A diesel laden tanker has fallen just a few metres beyond Otedola Bridge (inward Ogun State). Traffic build up has extended to Ojota. Motorists are advised to drive with caution. Emergency responders are making efforts to remove the fallen tanker.”
The Lagos State Transport Management Authority (LASTMA) also tweeted:
“Fallen Diesel Tanker on Otedola Bridge INW Berger. All Emergency agencies have arrived location for recover . Traffic is Heavy from Ifako all the way to Accident scene.“
