Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has pulled out of the 2019 presidential elections.
The actor made the announcement on his social media handles.
Edochie said he stepped down after due consideration and consultations. However, he said he remains committed to building a new Nigeria that works for all.
WuzupNaija had reported that Edochie was appointed the Senior Special Assistant on Creative & Entertainment Media to Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano in July.

“After due consideration & consultations, I will no longer run for President of Nigeria, 2019. To my supporters, worry not.
“I remain committed to building a new Nigeria that works for all, irrespective of class, tribe or religion.

Recall that Edochie was a Former Anambra gubernatorial aspirant under the Democratic Peoples Congress in 2017.
He studied Dramatic Arts at the University of Port Harcourt and made his Nollywood debut in 2005.
