AFTER 18 DAYS WITH EFCC! Fayose regains freedom [Photos]
as The former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has been released from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, after fulfilling the terms of his bail conditions.
His media aide, Lere Olayinka, announced his release on his Twiter page.
He also revealed that Fayose will meet EFCC in court on November 19.
“He left the Federal High Court, Ikoyi a few minutes ago.
“We will meet @officialEFCC at the court from November 19.” the tweets reads.
Recall that Fayose was granted N50 million bail by the federal high court in Lagos.
The EFCC had arraigned the ex-governor on an 11-count bordering on abuse of office.
The ex-governor is accused of receiving illegal monies to fund his 2014 governorship campaign in Ekiti State, among other allegations of benefitting from proceeds of money laundering.
