Hip-pop artiste Innocent Idibia has slammed a N50 million lawsuit on his group member at the defunct Plantashiun boys, Courage Ngoye Mercy also known as Blackface.

Idibia, who goes by the stage name 2Baba, and Blackface have been at loggerheads for some time now over the original owner of 2Baba’s mega-hit single, African Queen.

2Baba, who went solo from the group first, achieved instant success with African Queen.

Blackface had accused 2baba that he stole the song from him after he wrote, and refused to give him credit, however, 2face denied it.

Apparently tired of the constant bickering from Blackface on the original of the song, 2Baba and his managers have dragged his ex-Plantashun boys’ group member before the law.

While the issue has dragged over the years, Blackface today shared a lawsuit from 2Baba and manager Efe Omorogbe concerning the saga.. which he says is over the song.

He wrote on his Instagram page:

“2face idibia @official2baba & his manager Efe Omorogbe @efeomorogbe Sued me for 50Million They claiming i didnt write #letsomebodyloveyou & #africanqueen n what else?? Just about time me and my #legalteam filed for #mydefence After which I will release my album #risingsun (defendervol2) #BFNfans #BFNmovement #goodoverevil #lightoverdarkness ?.”
