AFCON: Sports minister hails Super Eagles’ fighting spirit

The Minister of Sports Development, John Enoh, has attributed Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Cameroon in the Round of 16 at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations to the resilient and determined performance displayed by Jose Peseiro’s men against the Indomitable Lions.

Enoh, speaking through his Media Special Assistant, Diana-Mary Tiku Nsan, emphasized the exceptional performance of the Super Eagles during the Saturday night clash.

He underscored the significance of the victory, not only for the team but for the entire nation.

“The resilience, determination, and fighting spirit of Nigeria’s Super Eagles paid off in a spectacular fashion on Saturday evening.
