Sierra Leone pulled a stunning comeback against the Super Eagles in the African Nations Cup Qualifier match at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin on Friday.

Gernot Rohr’s men sparked through their opponents by netting four un-replied goals in the first 29 minutes of the game.

Alex Iwobi, Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze out the Nigerians in the driving seat before the visitors pulled one back in the 41st minute through Kwame Quee.

The Super Eagles failed to capitalise on the three-goal advantage and paid dearly for it as the visitors score three unreplied goals in the second half.

Al-Hadji Kamara made it 4-2 for the visitors in the 72nd minute and got one more eight minutes later through Mustapha Bundu 80th minute goal.

Al-Hadji Kamara made it 4-4 in the 86th minute to help the visitors complete the shocking comeback.

Super Eagles remain top of the group with seven points after three matches, four behind second-placed Benin Rep and five behind third-placed Sierra Leone.
