The Super Eagles camp in Uyo came alive on Wednesday afternoon with the arrival of all 23 invited players ahead of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

New invitees Gift Orban, Victor Boniface, and Jordan Torunarigha were among the early arrivals in camp, along with Francis Uzoho, Adeleye Adebayo, Tyrone Ebuehi, Bruno Onyemaechi, and Semi Ajayi.

They were later joined by the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze.

The team will have their first training session later tonight at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo. The encounter against Sao Tome and Principe will occur on Sunday’s main turf.

The Super Eagles are already guaranteed a place at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, but they will be looking to finish their qualifying campaign on a high note.
