Adele splashes £16,000 on gold chain for rumoured boyfriend Skepta’s birthday
Multiple Grammy Award winner, Adele, has reportedly wowed her rumoured boyfriend, Skepta, with a gold chain worth £16,000 for his 38th birthday.
The Hello hit-maker, 32, and rapper Skepta were first linked in October last year and while it’s claimed their relationship is yet to become official, it didn’t stop Adele from making a fuss of her thought to be new man.
According to reports, Adele decided to buy Skepta a gold chain, setting her back £16k, to mark his 38th birthday last month.
Sources told The Mirror that the pair are ‘very close’ and claimed Skepta was more than chuffed with his gift from the singer.
‘Adele and Skepta have grown close in recent months and have been seeing a lot of each other,’ the insider said.
‘She’s been in England and she gave him a beautiful gold chain for his birthday.’
They added: ‘He was showing friends the chain and seemed pretty hyped about it – while they’re not officially in a relationship, they are very close.’
Adele is known for being notoriously private when it comes to her personal life and hasn’t publicly responded to reports she and Skepta are an item.
They were first romantically linked last year, following Adele’s divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki, with sources saying she and Skepta share a ‘special connection’ and had been on a string of dates.
Both stars hail from Tottenham and friends of theirs had predicted they’d get together.
Adele announced her split from ex-husband Simon in 2019, after eight years together and three years of marriage.
