Popular Nigerian singers Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simi, have welcomed a set of twin babies.
Adekunle Gold announced the arrival of the babies on Wednesday via his Snapchat page.
“Asked God for another child and He blessed me double,” the singer wrote.
Although the couple have not revealed the gender of the twins, the announcement was met with excitement, as fans and colleagues flooded social media with congratulatory messages.
In December 2025, Simi had hinted that the family was expecting another child after sharing a video on Instagram where she appeared with a baby bump.
“From my baby, for my babies,” she captioned the clip.
Around the same period, Simi also appeared visibly pregnant in the music video of Adekunle Gold’s song, My Love Is The Same, which was released on December 24, 2025. The video featured intimate family moments with their daughter, Deja.
Adekunle Gold and Simi got married in a private ceremony in January 2019 after years of friendship and musical collaboration.
The couple welcomed their first child, Adejare Kosoko, popularly known as Deja, in May 2020.
They remain one of Nigeria’s most admired music power couples.
