2016 Headies Awards winner and ‘Sade’ crooner, Adekunle Gold, on Monday morning took to Instagram to celebrate his wife, Simi as she marks her 33rd birthday.

If you’re an ardent follower of the couple, you’d agree that they love differently. The way they express their love to each other will make you want to fall head over heels with your partner.

The Nigerian highlife singer, songwriter and graphic designer, while sharing a rare photo of his singer wife, described her as the best part of his life.

Adekunle Gold went a step further to call the celebrant, Simi, his ‘magic.’

Adekunle Gold I believe wants his wife and those of us out here to know how much he cherishes her when he wrote,

“…The thought of growing old with you makes me the happiest man. My life is better because of you and I am grateful for every day, every milestone and moments with you…”

The now 33-year-old mother of one wasted no time in responding, trust Simi na, she used the opportunity to remind the father of her child that he was yet to fulfil a promise which he made to her.

A quick ‘research’ through Adekunle’s IG page showed the moment he promised his ‘magic’ that he was going to get toned abs (6-packs) on or before the 19th of April.

He shared a video of his slightly big belly which he captioned:

“180 crunches ✅ Evening work out ✅ April 19th is upon us. I go chaaaaaange for you @symplysimi&nbsp”

Adekunle Kosoko, known professionally as Adekunle Gold, or AG Baby, is a Nigerian highlife singer, songwriter and graphic designer.

He gained widespread attention after releasing the 2015 hit single “Sade”, a highlife cover of One Direction’s “Story of My Life”.

He got married to his singer, producer, sound engineer wife, Simi, in 2019.

The duo share a daughter.
