ADC won’t engage APC in political hostility, says Dele Momodu

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Dele Momodu, has declared that the opposition party will not adopt aggressive tactics in its dealings with the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Momodu made the remarks on Wednesday during an appearance on Sunrise Daily, a programme aired on Channels Television, where he responded to questions on national politics.

The Ovation Magazine publisher noted that several of his associates within the APC are privately expressing frustration about the state of affairs in the country.

He also criticised the ruling party over what he described as its failure to effectively deploy ambassadors after announcing their appointments.

According to him, the APC is the problem of Nigeria and not the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

“Majority of my friends are in the APC; sometimes when I hear their pain, I feel it. They talk about pain. ADC is not the problem of Nigeria. APC is.

“We in the ADC are on point very professionally. We are not going to play a rough game with the APC. It’s not necessary.

“Most of us are veterans now. There’s nothing I’m looking for in politics. I have always been in the opposition technically and I’m happy that we are still standing firm,” he said.
