The African Democratic Congress has secured an early advantage in results announced so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission across four polling units at LEA Primary School, Kubwa II, in Bwari Area Council.
The race is shaping up primarily between the ADC and the All Progressives Congress (APC), following the decision of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate in Bwari Area Council to step down shortly before the election in support of the APC flag bearer.
Based on figures collated from the four polling units within the school premises, the ADC has garnered a total of 67 votes, while the APC trails with 40 votes. The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) occupies third position with 21 votes, followed closely by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) with 20 votes.
Out of 4,063 registered voters at the polling centre, 181 voters were accredited and cast their ballots.
In Unit 044, chairmanship results show Accord with 1 vote, APC 7, ADC 20, APGA 3, PDP 1, and APGA 3. The unit has 755 registered voters, with 32 accredited voters and 32 total votes cast.
For councillorship in the same unit, Accord scored 1, ADC 14, APC 4, APGA 3, PDP 4, SDP 1, YPP 2, and ZLP 3. The total registered voters stood at 755, with 32 votes cast.
At Unit 045, chairmanship votes were recorded as follows: APC 11, ZLP 3, ADC 13, APGA 3, PDP 2, Accord 1, and Action Alliance 1.
In the councillorship category, APC and ADC each secured 10 votes, ZLP had 5, PDP 4, APGA 2, YPP 2, and Accord 1.
The unit has 747 registered voters, with 34 accredited voters and 34 votes cast.
In Unit 047, the chairmanship tally shows ADC with 15 votes, ZLP 5, APC 2, PDP 2, APGA 4, SDP 2, and 2 invalid votes.
For councillorship, ADC received 12 votes, ZLP 10, PDP 3, APGA 4, YPP 1, APC 0, and 2 invalid votes were recorded.
At Unit 006, chairmanship results indicate Accord with 5 votes, ADC 19, ADP 1, APC 20, APGA 10, PDP 8, SDP 2, and ZLP 13.
In the councillorship contest, Accord polled 6 votes, ADC 8, ADP 1, APC 20, APGA 9, SDP 1, YPP 12, ZLP 16, with 1 invalid vote recorded.
