London-born Nigerian defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, has been shortlisted for Chelsea Goal of the Month for April 2026 following his standout performance in the FA Cup.

Chelsea FC confirmed on their official website that ten goals have been nominated for the monthly prize.

Among them is Adarabioyo’s effort against Port Vale FC during their FA Cup quarterfinal clash.

Chelsea had already taken firm control of the match before halftime, thanks to goals from Jorrel Hato and João Pedro, as well as an own goal by Jordan Gabriel.

Extending that advantage further, Adarabioyo found the net in the 57th minute.

The former Manchester City youth captain powered home a header from a cross delivered by Malo Gusto.

Adarabioyo faces stiff competition for the award, with other nominees including Mathis Eboue, João Pedro, Lewi Richards, Reggie Walsh, Sol Gordon, and Enzo Fernández.

So far this season, the 28-year-old defender has scored twice in 28 appearances across all competitions, which is three goals fewer than his tally during his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.

He now needs four more goals in Chelsea’s remaining five matches to surpass his personal best for a single season.

Meanwhile, Tyrique George was previously nominated for the club’s Goal of the Month award in October but did not secure the win.
