Adamu Garba fails to show up in court in suit against Jack Dorsey
Former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has failed to show up in court for his suit against Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey.
This was disclosed by Tope Akinyode, a legal practitioner and defendant in the suit.
He tweeted: “I was at the Federal High Court today to defend Adamu Garba’a lawsuit against @jack and @Twitter. However, @adamugarba & his lawyers failed to show up in Court without given reasons & the Court has now adjourned case to 22nd April 2021.”
Recall that Adamu Garba had threatened to drag Dorsey to court over the role he played during the EndSARS protests last month.
Dorsey had given publicity to a Twitter account which revealed how people could donate to support the EndSARS protesters clamouring for an end to police brutality.
