Adamawa State has introduced a mobile court to handle cases of people breaking environmental sanitation rules.
This move is part of a new effort to keep the state clean and healthy.
Deputy Governor Kaletapwa Farauta, who braved the rain to oversee the monthly sanitation exercise, emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean environment.
Farauta, who also chairs the state’s sanitation committee, led a team of cabinet members to inspect major refuse dumps. They visited Shagari, Aliyu Mustapha College, Doubeli By-Pass, and the airport road to check on the removal of waste.
The new mobile court will deal with those who do not follow environmental sanitation rules, aiming to enforce compliance and maintain public health.
