Nollywood actress, Uzo Osimkpa, has blasted Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, for calling out Igbo over church donations.

During a recent sermon at his church in Abuja, the COZA pastor alleged that the Igbo people find it difficult to donate money to the church because of how much they hustled to get the money.

He was quoted as saying: “The Igbo believe in God. It takes God for an Igbo guy to give. They have a large heart but -they believe you shouldn’t work their mind.

“No Church with a Yoruba pastor takes more Igbo songs than COZA. Hustle is a c*rze! Are you a hustler? Some people find it hard to give because they hustled to get that money. In the name of Jesus, hustle has ceased in your life.”

However, in a series of posts on her verified Instagram page, Osimkpa said it is unacceptable for an alleged r@pist to say that Igbo people find it difficult donating to God.

She stated that the reason why Igbo people appear to withhold their donations is that they prefer to take their love and money ‘home’ to their brothers, community, church circuits and parishes they belong to.
