Nollywood actress, Sarah Martins, has accused a movie editor of attempting to undermine her hard work by delivering a substandard final product after months of dedication to a film project.
In a passionate social media post, Martins revealed that she had spent several months producing a movie worth millions of naira without financial backing from anyone.
She said the editor’s delayed delivery of the final cut, which took six weeks instead of the initially agreed two-week turnaround, left her devastated.
The actress expressed her frustration, recounting the sleepless nights and personal sacrifices she endured to complete the film, including spending nearly seven months securing a particular cast member.
Despite these efforts, Martins claimed the editor delivered what she described as “a bunch of crabs.”
“This is my hard-earned money, my sleepless nights. No assistance from any man or woman, just my money… and this is all I get?” she wrote in the Instagram post.
She went on to express the emotional toll the situation had taken on her, saying, “I know I’m a strong girl, but this pain is piercing my heart.”
Martins did not hold back in her response to the editor, cursing them for what she believes was a deliberate attempt to sabotage her project.
“Except there’s no God. But as long as there’s God, you will labour in vain!” she declared.
The post has sparked discussions among fans and industry colleagues, with many expressing support for the actress.
