Actress and mother of three Omoni Oboli was overcome with emotion while recounting her father’s death in an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
The popular actress and filmmaker spoke about how she dealt with the death of her late father, Matthew Ukey.
During the conversation, the actress discussed the heartbreaking experience of seeing her father’s ’empty shell’ after visiting the morgue and not knowing what to do.
She said, “My world crumbled when my dad passed. The next day I drove into Benin. I went to see him at the Morgue. Have you ever seen a dead body? You just know that they are no more there.
“It’s a shell. We all like to look good, at the end of the day this body is a shell. I saw my dad, I saw my mom and you just know the person you know and love is gone.
“They call my dad mobility that’s like his nickname. I said ‘Mobility how could you do this to me’? I just kept thinking what am I going to do? How am I ever going to get back from this?”
