Actress Iyabo Ojo begs Sanwo-Olu to lift 12-4am curfew

Published

Nigerian actress, Iyabo Ojo, has asked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State to review 12 am to 4 am restrictions on movements across the metropolis due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ojo made the call, on Sunday, in a post on her Instagram page. According to her, the restriction on movement is ruining businesses and forcing loungers, bar, and club owners into debts.

WuzupNigeria recalls that the Lagos State Government had imposed the restriction at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. As of the time the restrictions were imposed, Lagos was the epicentre of the spread of the virus in Nigeria. In recent times, new COVID-19 infections in the state has reduced, prompting the state to close its isolation centres, but the restrictions on movement between 12 midnight and 4am have not been officially lifted.
