AC Milan keep title chase alive with Frosinone win

AC Milan secured a crucial 3-1 victory over Frosinone at San Siro on Saturday, maintaining their pursuit of Serie A leaders Juventus. Fikayo Tomori, Luca Jovic, and Christian Pulisic found the back of the net for the Rossoneri, while Marco Brescianini scored a consolation goal for the visitors.

The win comes as a welcome relief for Stefano Pioli’s side following their midweek setback in the UEFA Champions League against Borussia Dortmund. Milan dominated the match from the start, displaying patience and efficiency in their attacking play.

Tomori opened the scoring just before halftime, capitalizing on a defensive error. Pulisic doubled Milan’s lead early in the second half with a brilliant individual effort, and Tomori added a third goal midway through the second half to seal the victory.

Frosinone, despite their impressive form in recent weeks, failed to pose a significant threat to Milan’s defense. They struggled to break down the makeshift backline fielding by Pioli and were unable to capitalize on Milan’s injury woes.

Milan’s victory keeps them within striking distance of Juventus and Inter at the top of Serie A. The Rossoneri will look to build on this momentum as they continue their quest for a Serie A title.
