The chairman of the Nasarawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress who was kidnapped earlier on Sunday has been reportedly found dead.
Philip Shekwo was abducted by unknown gunmen at his residence in Bukan-Sidi, Lafia around 11 p.m. on Saturday, the police confirmed.
According to a source close to the family and a leader of the APC in Nasarawa, who asked not to be named, have however confirmed Shekwo’s death.
The Commissioner of Police, Nasarswa State Command, Mr. Bola Longe, confirmed this on Sunday to The PUNCH at the deceased residence in Bukan Sidi, Lafia Local Government Area of the state.
