Nigerian professional footballer, Ahmed Musa, who plays as a forward and left winger for Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr has announced the death of his mom.
The footballer via his social media handles said that today, Jan.24, is a very sad day for him.

I am sure being tucked in bed is not the best thing you know to do. All your children are waiting for you to get out of bed and say ‘I am back in action’. Get well soon Sweet Mum!❤️? pic.twitter.com/LC9gIEaXgI

He was named sports man of the year by several bodies following his exploits for the Super Eagles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
No details have been set on the burial arrangements at the time of this report but well meaning Nigerians have taken to social media to send their condolences to Musa.
